I hold many of my courses at Körningsgården in Nordingrå Sweden. It is an old guest house with well-preserved furnishings and beautiful glassverandas. The location right in the heart of the World Heritage High Coast offers a fantastic environment that has inspired many artists.
This is where you can see a full display of the unique consequences of the dramatic land uplift that has taken place in the area after each Ice Age. The land rises from the sea every year by about 1 cm – almost 1 meter in 100 years.
The heavily hilly landscape with several steep and sunny southern mountains contributes to creating a very favorable growing climate. During spring and summer, the flower splendor is of a rarely seen kind.
